KoschtIT Image Gallery is a free and open-source image gallery PHP-script. It can be used to add image galleries to existing webpages very easily. The appearance of each gallery can be individually customized. The only prerequisite for using the script is PHP5 with GD2 support. The pictures aren't displayed in an extra window, instead they are opened directly on top of your HTML document. Therefore your website background gets shaded.
There is also an admin panel, which enables the site administrator to write picture comments and edit gallery settings. Gallery visitors can write viewer comments to any picture. Navigation via keyboard is available too. More features are: slidewhows, automatic thumb generation, image to window size reduction, image preloading, previews for the next/last picture, show geotagging information (via EXIF) ...

Hi, im using your gallery but when i hover my mouse over a picture i dont want the shaddow behind the small thumbnail, how do i remove the shadow?

» What exactly is not working? Did you read the support forum. Most of the issues have been solved there. Also have a look at the script documention if you are experiencing problems.

Is there a way to make sub galleries? ie: one Folder A, then have folders B, C and D inside the main Folder A? Other than that your script is great. I just integrated it with Xcart and it works great for a club site I'm building. Thank you

For some reason the admin opens up fine in Firefox, but does not in IE8.
Does this gallery have issues with Internet Explorer?

I do have to made a decision between this and http://www.flash-gallery.org/ ... Can you make this able to run in fullscreen mode?
» The "Flash-Gallery" uses Flash. This script doesn't - it's only PHP and JavaScript. That is a huge difference. Flash-based programs don't run un most mobile phones and always need a Plugin to be installed on the browser. This script doesn't need all that stuff. But on the other side only flash applications can start fullscreen mode by themselves. You can't do something like this with JavaScript. However just hit the F11 - button and your browser will go into fullscreen.rnYou could place a little text on your website which tells the user to hit the button if they want to go real fullscreen. ;-) Give the user the chance to decide for their own.

How ungrateful for anyone to say that this script sucks. What a bad attitude. Especially when practically every PAID script I have come across does not nearly do what this one does.
Great script. I sent a donation back in February.
And never mind the negative complainers out there. They don't like your script they should move on instead being hateful and insulting.
