I absolutely love your gallery script!
Well, I do have a suggestion of sorts, or perhaps I can be pointed to a way to modify the script to accomplish this:
The presently existing way of displaying captions describing the image limits this function to a bar beneath the image, thus taking up space and displaying the image smaller in order to accommodate the caption. I prefer sometimes rather lengthy and detailed descriptions, often several paragraphs in length, and obviously this is really not feasible using the existing system.
Would it be possible to add, for example, coding which would open a dismissible javascript/CSS/php "styled tooltip," containing extended captions and descriptions, which would open on mouse-hover to individual images on the thumbnail display? Or perhaps a button on the navigation panel of the full size display which would open a dismissible CSS/javascript/php hidden div window, or something on that order?
I think this would be a useful option, greatly adding to the flexibility of the gallery.
Or is there a way I could modify the present script to accomplish this? I'm sure there is, but my coding skills, while there, minimally, are not quite up to the task.
