Probleme mit PHP-Version 5.4 ?

Hallo,

sind irgendwelche Probleme mit der PHP-Version 5.4 bekannt? Mein Provider (Telekom) hat heute umgestellt und leider macht die Gallery Probleme. Dabei ist es nicht nachvollziehbar, manchmal wird die Gallery ohne Probleme angezeigt, manchmal öffnen sich die Bilder nicht.

Der Admin-Bereich zeigt hier und da neue Bilder nicht an, obwohl der Space für die Thumbs gezeigt wird.

I have tested you new beta release, first on a local host (xampp) it works here good.
Then I have updated the files to my provider, now it seems to work but only the
Thumbnails are showing, when you click on it, the screen stays defused and no picture is
coming up.

Here you can see how the script is working http://www.hspfoto.nl/test
only architectuur and nieuw have pictures in the menu.

Suggestion if it is possible in the exif: type of lens and focus distance.

This new script version is recommended to everyone who is using the gallery. Some very critical bug-fixes have been fixed. See the changelog below to read in detail if a problem you may experienced has been solved. Overall the script performance in terms of harddisk access times has been improved in some places. Should be in everybody's favour.

Many people have asked for exif metadata to be available inside picture labels. This is finally going to happen with this release. Please check if everything is woking as expected and give feedback if you need any other exif-variables/placeholders. While in beta testing I can add some more before release. Unfortunately, one drawback of using the gd-library for image resizing is that all metadata including exif metadata will disappear from any uploaded images if you resize (maximum image size reduction) or auto-rotate them. You read correct! It is even possible now to auto-rotate pictures based on camera orientation information in the metadata.
Don't forget to enable $ki_read_meta.

Available metadata variables:
%exif_manufactor, %exif_model, exif_exposure, %exif_apperture, %exif_iso, %exif_date, %exif_flash

Slideshow Stops

Hello: great script .. thank you.

I installed this script yesterday at http://www.duluthgardenflowersociety.com...11SGTL.php . When the slideshow is selected from the menu after the first photo opens, the slideshow runs 4 photos and stops. If I click the stop button and then the start button, it will go another 4 photos and stop. It doesn't go through the entire show.

I am guessing I have something set up incorrectly, but don't know what. Any help is appreciated..'

I know it's a terrible browser but so may people seem to use it, it seems a shame for it not to work.

Hi and thx for a great script!

I've stumbled on a problem while upgrading to v3.1c. I have a phpBB forum integrated site. phpBB uses $user as a global variable and does not work at all together with the gallery. The gallery sets the variable after phpBB so the gallery works as intended but disable the forum functions.

I've tried to change the variable name at all occurrences, of $user but I end up with: "Catchable fatal error: Object of class user could not be converted to string in /ki_include.php on line 226"

Would appreciate a solution.

Running on php 5.2, wc3 is green.

gibt es eine Möglichkeit, dass Gäste nur selbst hochgeladenen Bilder beschriften können?

Es geht mir nicht um die normale Kommentarfunktion, nur um die Bildunterschriften.

Password Problem

Could it be that certain special characters are not allowed in the password or that the md5 fails to decrypt?

Unfortunately I did not keep the password that caused me problems but it was generated with many special characters, something like this one: "kzD4x&#+qWjNM."

I could not login, so I went to the config file and reset to the default manually. So it is no longer a problem for me but maybe for someone else?

I'm putting img to galery now and I found strange thing, when I deleted img after that is staying free space. I can't put img at this space if it is first line of gallery. Is there any cache where I could clear all old removed img?

Ich habe für meinen Bruder eine Internetseite installiert (fertiges Skript) und versuche von Zeit zur Zeit etwas weiter zu machen.
Da ich von ihm einige Referenzen für die Fotos erhalten habe, wollte ich solch eine "Lightbox" verwenden, bisher jedoch ohne Erfolg.
Index.php verweist auf main.tpl Datei, welche wiederrum auf den Inhalt einer anderen Kategorie verweist. DOCTYPE ist in main.tpl und der Verweis auf die Gallerie in der jeweiligen Kategorie. Da die Verlinkungen aber etwas kompliziert gestaltet werden kriege ich das Ganze nicht zum Laufen.

Wenn ich das mit den Ordnern so löse, dass ich alles aufgerufen bekomme, weiß ich nicht wie ich das in der Kategorie verlinken soll und bekomme den fehler beim aufrufen der ki_include.php: WARNING: KoschtIT Image Gallery didn't find any gallery to display. Set '$show_warnings = 0' if you don't want to see this warning again

Für hilfreiche Tipps wäre ich sehr dankbar!

Hi, I must say this is a fantastic script and very simple to install and configure - many thanks.

Currently I am running on my localserver on Win 7 using WAMP and Firefox 19. I am using Jquery Mobile.

The gallery does not appear when the page is first loaded, only if I refresh the page.

Is there a function I can call on body load? Or some other solution?

Spacing (padding) between vertical and horizontal img

I've problem whit my friend galery. I have 4 rows, each rows have 4 photos - 3 horizontal and one vertical. Spacing (padding) between rows and horizontal photo are ok. But I have problem whit space (padding) between vertical photo and horizontal photo opposite them (in row) - the space is to big, how could I change that?

bisher war meine Homepage http://www.petrasblumenwerkstatt.de bei der Telekom und die Gallerien funktionierten einwandfrei. War super einfach neue Fotos hochzuladen und sie wurden wunderbar angezeigt. (z.B.: http://www.petrasblumenwerkstatt.de/Kirche.php )
Nachdem ich nun den Provider gewechselt habe, ich bin zu netbeat gewechselt wird an Stelle der Bilderübersichten (Thumbnails) nichts angezeigt. Laut Anbieter wird phph 5.3.3 unterstützt. Auf meine Nachfrage nach GD2 Unterstützung habe ich heute erfahren: "die Server unterstützen GD, aber als separates Modul."
Leider kann ich damit nicht viel anfangen, nachdem ich von der Materie nicht viel oder sagen wir keine Ahnung habe.
Nachdem ich die Homepagedaten aber 1:1 wie beim alten Anbieter hochgeladen habe, weiß ich nicht woran es liegen könnte...
Wäre wahnsinnig super, wenn mir weitergeholfen werden könnte!

Gallery not showing

Hello all,

I've installed the gallery into the homepage I am designing - www.girouxsalem.com. For some reason I can not get the gallery to show. I have the include_once script in the header, the div tag where I want the gallery to appear (towards the bottom of the page). I've checked my PHP settings and am running on PHP 5.2.17, and GD 2.0.34 is installed. For whatever reason the sample gallery just won't show up. Can anyone view my source code on my page and see if they can see something wrong?

i run wordpress.. the strange thing is that then i change something in the settings for the gallery both page´s get the change. but only my first page shows the pictures..

i really dont understand that.. can someone help me understand?

ich habe eine Seite bei Alphahosting liegen, doch da funktioniert die Gallerie nicht - weder Adminpanel noch Thumbs werden angezeigt, ich sehe nur einen grauen Kasten. Testweise habe ich den Ordner auf andere Server geladen (Goneo und Bplaced) und da funktioniert alles direkt und ohne Probleme.

Kann mir jemand sagen was der Support bei Alfahosting aktivieren soll?
