Thumbs are not safed
Hi
first thanks a lot for the script. I am setting up a test site and had no problems getting things set up first but then I relized, that all thumbs are generated new everytime. I am using php5 and 2.6 version of your script. My html page looks like this: Code: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
Unfortunatly still no thumb is safed to disk :-( I don't see my mistake and don't know what to try next. Thanks for any help Seballa |

RE: Thumbs are not safed
Hi,
I just want to say I sloved my problem, unfortunatly the "hard way". I have a qutie new vserver at stratos just to play around and learn (there isnt't even a url connected to it) Plesk came with it, i did a complete reinstall with ubuntu 10.04 server and installed all packeges by hand. I wanted to do that all the time because I have no clou of plesk, nor do I need it it just made a hard life to me. With my clean setup everything works as it should thanks a lot. Seballa |

RE: Thumbs are not safed
Hi. I'm glad you could solve your problem ... though it leaves me puzzled what exactly caused the warning. I guess it has something to do with Plesk's security policy.

RE: Thumbs are not safed
I have no clou what caused the problem but the server didn't react the way I wanted for a couple of times before. I am very happy to have a clean setup now. Now I know what the system is doing and why (at least most of the time ;-).
Different matter: I am not a professional programmer but I understand a bit of javascript and PHP though my time is very limited atm I would like to try to implent some more exif features to your script. I'd love a tooltip or a box where the Image Data is shown. Can you give me a tip where to look for the php exif function and where the html output of the script is created? How do you give the information to javascritp is it already there or do you just read the GEO Data at the moment?? Thanks for your answer. Seballa |

All this is happening in the "ki_fullimg.php". From there it's up to you where to output the data. If you want to create an extra tooltip I would suggest you to pass the data somehow to the "ki_js_view.php" for example with JSON. There you can make an additional div which presents all the meta information from the exif-container to the user. KoschtIT Image Gallery developer |
