I'm planning to release v3.0 very soon. Here a first glimpse. This is not finished yet and I need your feedback. This early version may contain some serious bugs. Now I'm just too tired to write anything more ... just have a look if you want:

UPDATE:

I have updated the download file to v3.0beta2. This version is more stable than the last one and there are also some new features which have been discussed here. Most noticeable is the new possibility to add watermarks to the images during upload. Also the updating procedure is going to be much easier from now on. Just replace (overwrite) only the files in the "ki_base"-folder and the "ki_include.php". Keep everything else. That's all. No need to update the "ki_setup.php"-file anymore, even if a new version has more parameters, than the old one. Please report any issues you have ... Thanks!

this is great!
most especially i like the navigation buttons they are so mature and classy!
Also the photo shearing is another great idea, but you didn't include twitter to it.

Don't worry. It's everything there. Twitter and some 331 more sites as well. I use addThis for the sharing icons. It displays your four favourite sharing sites but you can access more with the '+' ...

What of the issue of subfolders, did you improve on that too?

No. The script doesn't look for image files in subfolders ... I still don't know if this is anything somebody really need. It makes things very complicated ...

That's really not a problem, i was just asking.
well yeah i guessed dismantling those codes to give room for subfolders would be really problematic. I really love the look of this beta version, i would go through it to see if i can make amends to the previous version which i have. I have gone a long way in customizing it to suit the nature of my site.

mit dieser Beta hast du dein Script echt wieder einmal aufgewertet. Besonders gefallen mir die neuen Navigatiosn Icons. Super Sache....

Zwei Wünsche/Träume hätte ich noch:

a.) eine Funktion die Bilder beim Upload Prozess automatische mit einem Wasserzeichen (grafik oder per GD2) versehen zu können.

b.) zu den Share it geschichten noch den Klassiker "Facebook gefällt mir Button".

Vielleicht lässt sich das noch realisieren?!

Hallo,

bin ich der einzige mit Problemen?

Habe die ki_setup.php der Vorgängerversion auf dem Server belassen, möchte ja nicht alles neu konfigurieren.

Die Online-Konfiguration hat die meisten Einstellungen nicht übernommen, alle Punkte Enabled/Disabled waren nicht entsprechend der setup.php belegt. Habe dann einzig die Share-Option enabled und gesichert. Hat leider nicht funktioniert, die Änderung wurde nicht übernommen.

Habe den Punkt dann manuell in der ki_setup.php geändert. Die Share-Buttons wurden daraufhin angezeigt, aber die ganze Gallerie zeigte ein seltsames Verhalten. Die Thumbs wurde auf einigen Seiten nicht angezeigt, Fotos werden nicht geöffnet.

Hab zunächst mal wieder die alte Version aktiviert...

Hab ich was falsch gemacht oder hat die Beta hier und da noch Macken?
