Admin Login Issue

I love the app. Exactly what I needed. I'm only at the beginning of customizing to work with my site, but very nice start.

Unfortunately, I'm having an issue accessing the admin side of the app. I don't even get the log-in prompt. I've tried of scratch a couple times.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

The site I'm working on is for my kids Little league association. Link to gallery as follows.

Hopefully it's a simple oversight on my part. Any help is greatly appreciated.

BTW, looking forward to checking out the enhancement in your latest release.

It's so easy ... just add "?admin=user" to the url with the gallery. Here is the link: http://middleroadathletics.org/photo_gal...admin=user . If you don't see a password prompt, then replace 'user' with the correct admin name. Seems like you changed it from 'user' to something else ...

Thank you for the quick response. I agree, one would think it would be that easy.

I've re-download the app and started from scratch using your default settings. ie. user/password

Still no success on password promt. Have you seen this before. Could it be a server issue?

Where in the script is the prompt being called?

It's definitely a server issue. I believe your $_SESSION-variables are not being saved. I need to look at your server config. Can you please provide a phpinfo()-site? What value you have for "session.cookie_domain"?

Ok. I have looked over it and I think everything should work fine. There is only one thing which comes to my mind: Maybe the session.save_path is not writable. Ask your hoster about it and explain that PHP session data is not being saved across multiple pages ... You need to have writing permissions in that save_path - folder ( for PHP ).

I have the same issue as PVAInteractive - i had only one succesfull login with default vaules. After that I did few customisation of script's config (e.g. no warnings, no download file) - then second try to login: fails. after evoking login URL I see no login window: whole login page is darken by overlay. No password prompt.
Change of pass/login vaules in config has no effect = I cannot login into admin.

In my case issue seems to be successfully solved. I embed instance of KoschtIT Gallery into single post of working WordPress. My fails to login into KoschtIT Gallery admin was only when single (in my case: the only) post with the gallery script was "unpublished". After I published the post with instance of KoschtIT Gallery, I again was able to login into gallery admin.
I used KoschtIT Gallery v2.6
