I don't wanna talk much about this new release. Most of the visual changes have been already shown in this thread.
More important than the usual bugfixes and cosmetical tweak is the new "Settings GUI" for editing configuration files online. It is much more comfortable to change settings online, than to edit the "ki_setup.php" file(s) by hand. Just give it a try and find out yourself. The "Settings GUI" can be found in the top left menu, when logged in as admin. One last thing i want to mention is the "next/last" picture preview animation. This little gem looks so wicked and perfectly exploits the unused space left and right of the main picture.

I wanted to take a moment and let you know your hard work is appreciated.

I will spend some more time testing the beta release and report back any bugs, if found. So far it looks good so I am testing it on a live site. Thank you for the beta release!

Bisher läuft die Galerie einwandfrei, ich habe keinen Fehler entdecken können.

Aber mal ein grosses Lob von mir, die Beta ist wirklich gelungen und hat tolle neue Funktionen :-)

ich hab nun die beta auch mal getestet und muss sagen das die neuen features wiedermal super sind. das ganze ist sowieso einen richtig schöne sache. nochmals besten dank dafür.
die beta läuft bei mir auch ohne problem. das admin panel ist ne sehr schöne sache.

allerdings hätte ich doch einen kleinen mangel zu melden.
ich nutze die galerie bei mir um bilder dich ich alle 30 min von einer webcam mache anzuzeigen. beim speichern der bilder gibt es ab und zu probleme, so das die bilder defekt sind. das ist nicht wirklich schlimm aber bewirkt bei der gallerie den effekt das die komplette galerie nicht angezeigt werden kann sobald ein fehlerhaftes bild im ordner ist.
dieser effekt (ich mag es nicht fehler nennen) war schon bei den vorgängerversioen zu beobachten.

ansonnsten großes lob, weiter so.

Dieses Problem habe ich noch für die v2.3 gefixed. Defekte Bilder werden jetzt einfach ignoriert ...
